1. Introduction
The Gastronomic Company Ltd reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect when posted on the website and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use this website and your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.  

2. Registration
To register with chilledmeals.co.uk or to join thegastronomic.co.uk club you must be over eighteen years of age. 

Each registration is for a single user only. We do not permit you to share your user name and password with any other person nor with multiple users on a network. 

Responsibility for the security of any passwords issued rests with you and if you know or suspect that someone else knows your password, you should contact us immediately. 

We may suspend or cancel your registration immediately at our reasonable discretion, or if you breach any of your obligations under these terms and conditions. 

3. Ordering  
When you place an order via this Website you will be sent an auto-generated Order Acknowledgement by email detailing everything you have ordered. This email is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from The Gastronomic Company Ltd. Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and The Gastronomic Company Ltd will take place on dispatch to you of the products ordered, unless The Gastronomic Company Ltd notifies you that your order has not been accepted or you have cancelled it.  
 
It is your responsibility to check the address details you have supplied are accurate and complete, since no refunds are given on goods delivered to the wrong address due to an error on your part.  

4. Prices  
All retail prices on this site are in British Pounds Sterling (£GBP). Food does not incur Value Added Tax (VAT) but certain accompaniments, the Inland Revenue consider as luxury items may incur Value Added Tax (VAT) at the current rate, along with any delivery and packaging charges, which may be added to the overall checkout total.  

5. Order Processing  
We aim to process and dispatch orders to meet your chosen delivery requirements. If you request the next day delivery, orders must be received before 10am the day before the day of delivery. Deliveries are not normally possible on Sundays, Mondays and Bank Holidays. Saturday is a premium delivery day. Should you require a delivery on a non-delivery day please email us at info@thegastronomic.co.uk with your request.

Orders are accepted at the sole discretion of The Gastronomic Company Ltd and are subject to your credit or debit card being authorised for the transaction. All transactions are conducted through a secure web server (see the Website statement/Site Security page for more information).  

6. Delivery & Packaging Charges  
Prices may not include the cost of delivery to your Home, place of Work or other chosen location. You will be charged £5.99 delivery unless you spend over £25 on Meals, when Standard week day Delivery and Packaging is Free. Saturday deliveries are charged £20. You can view the final total including any Packaging and Delivery costs at the checkout stage prior to confirming your order.  

7. Deliveries  
We deliver throughout mainland UK, although we are rolling out the service by post code area to ensure that we can meet demand. Deliveries may be via our own vehicle or through our preferred courier. Delivery instructions should be entered when you order. If you are expecting to be out on your chosen delivery day, you may have your delivery to your work or other location if you prefer. Simply update your delivery address when ordering. As we are sending perishable good our couriers should not bring the goods back to their depot for redelivery or collection. The driver may contact you by telephone if he is unable to meet your requests for further instructions. The Gastronomic Company Ltd cannot be held liable for your failure to accept the delivery as requested at the time of order.   Should you wish to amend your delivery instructions please email us at info@thegastronomic.co.uk with your request before 10am the day before delivery.  

8. Damages and Errors  
Check your order carefully upon delivery. Any problems during transit such as damage or temperature issues must be reported immediately to info@thegastronomic.co.uk.  We will contact you to advise you of the action required. Do not throw away the item or any packaging materials since the Carrier Company will need to inspect them before paying compensation.  
 
Any packing errors must be reported to info@thegastronomic.co.uk within 24 hours of delivery.

 
9.  Order Cancellation  
When paying by credit or debit card you have the right to cancel your order within seven days of your contract with us, or seven days of receipt of the goods (whichever is the longer). Simply contact us at info@thegastronomic.co.uk stating your order reference. Once you have cancelled your order, we will contact you within 2 working days to return your payment.  

Should you wish to change or cancel your order please remember that we produce your meals just for you.  Therefore we would appreciate as much notice as possible to prevent wastage. 

10. Returns & Refund Guarantee
We want you to be completely happy with your purchase in addition to your legal rights we offer a money back guarantee,  Items should be returned to us at 197 Park Rd Loughborough, LE11 2HE. Unless agreed and arranged in advance, The Gastronomic Company Ltd are not liable for any costs incurred in returning items to us.

11. Use of this site  
Every effort is taken to ensure that the information contained in this Website is correct and up-to-date. However, The Gastronomic Company Ltd disclaim all warranties and representations as to the accuracy of any information contained if at any time it becomes inadvertently out-of-date or incomplete. The Gastronomic Company Ltd cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage that may arise from the use of this information.  
 
The Gastronomic Company Ltd are not responsible for this site's accuracy or the reliability of the access to this site. Neither will we assume responsibility for the content of any other website to which this site links to. These links are provided for your convenience only.

While we endeavour to ensure that this Website is normally available 24 hours a day, we will not be liable if for any reason this Website is unavailable at any time or for any period.  Access to this Website may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond our control.

You are permitted to print and download extracts from this Website for your own use on the following basis:  
(i) no documents or related graphics on this Website are modified in any way: 
(ii) no graphics on this Website are used separately from accompanying text; and

15. Force Majeure
The Gastronomic Company Ltd shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any of its obligations if the delay or failure results from events or circumstances outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to, acts of God, strikes, lock outs, accidents, war, fire, failure of any communications, telecommunications or computer system, breakdown of plant or machinery or shortage or unavailability of raw materials from a natural source of supply, and the Supplier shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of its obligations. 

16. Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Disputes arising in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. 

We do not warrant that materials/items for sale on the Website are appropriate or available for use outside the United Kingdom. It is prohibited to access the Website from territories where its contents are illegal or unlawful. If you access this Website from locations outside the United Kingdom, you do so at your own risk and you are responsible for compliance with local laws.
