In the summer of 2008 we had an enquiry from Our Lady’s Convent School, asking if we could provide temporary school meal cover whilst new kitchens were developed. With the Cooking made Simple reputation for providing freshly cooked food, we were the natural choice! As parents we wanted to work with the children and school to provide meals that would ensure empty plates and avoid the need for the children to search for comfort foods at lunch time. We created a simple range of mouth watering freshly prepared School Meals that kids love to eat. It wasn’t long before we were a serious contender for the long term catering contract, moving into the new kitchens in September 2009. We provide breakfast options for those who arrive early and snack time facilities. We ensure that balanced food choices are always available and have proved that meals at school don’t have to taste like old school dinners. If you give your little ones sandwiches at lunch, why not provide them with one of our tasty meals for Tea. Available Monday to Thursday, pick up a leaflet with next week’s Menu from Cooking made Simple. Choose and order before Friday and we will ensure that your meals are freshly prepared, chilled and ready to collect from 3pm on your chosen days. |
